SKINCARE AT HOME: HOME REMERDY FOR FACE TO BOOST YOUR SKIN 


skincare  is something everyone should follow in their daily routine if you wish to have a beautiful flawless skin.

                               “Our skin and body needs sustenance cause they define us”

As a teenager, we look into apps for skincare products also we find it hard to choose a product that suits your skin. So you can start with the ‘veggies’ that are available at your home and also other homebound things available. 

In this blog let's see a few of the ingredients that I used in my skincare routine. 

1. Tomato 🍅 
2. potato 🥔 
3. Gram flour
4. Milk 🍼 
5. Honey 🐝 
6. Aloevera 


1. TOMATO 


Tomatoes are best know for their vitamins .
Tomatoes contain lycopene is the major carotenoid in tomatoes. Tomatoes contain a matrix of many bioactive components, including vitamin C, vitamin E and flavonoids.
These components help in maintaining youthful skin and work as an Anti-aging property. 
The acidity in tomatoes helps in making your skin acne -free.

Lycopene present in tomato helps in protecting skin from sun and helps in reducing sun tan. ☀️ 


2 .POTATO


Potato contains anti-oxidants and rich in carotene. Potato has a enzyme called catecholase which helps in lightening your skin, reducing dark circles and dark spots. 
Consistent use of potato helped me in reducing my dark spots .
Potatoes acts as a natural bleach to our skin. 

3. GRAM FLOUR OR BESAN 


Besan is considered as a home remedy for skin. zinc in gram flour fights against infection that cause acne in your face and also removes excess sebum production in your face. It is best for oily skin. It acts as an exfoliant and homemade beauty treatment to lighten and brighten your skin tone. 
Gram flour is used mostly for brides and it has proven to give glow and brighter skin

4 . MILK



Milk is rich in vitamin -B, calcium and anti -oxidants. 
It nourishes your skin cells. It acts as an exfoliant, moisturizer and soothes your sun damaged skin.

Milk contains lactic acid which aids in lightening skin. 

5. HONEY



Honey speeds up skin cells healing process. It helps balance the bacteria on your skin, which makes it a great product of use for acne. 
It is a natural exfoliant and eliminated dead skin cells 

6. ALOE VERA GEL


Aloe vera contains vitamin A and C, highly Anti-inflammatory. 
 It moisturize skin so it is mostly used as a daily moisturizer to your skin. Aloe vera gets absorbed easily and it's ideal for oily skin. It also reduces dark circles.

we have only seen few homebound products that we can use in our skincare , In my upcoming blog i will detail about each ingredients and how to use them . 

I wrote this blog based on my personal experience , I tried using all these on my face and found useful . 


NOTE: Kindly do a patch test even when use natural products because we aren't aware of which ingredient we are allergic to . To avoid unnecessary skin problems its always best to test any face mask mix on your hand before applying it on your face
